Honest to goodness – watching this bird grow up is like watching blue jays. They are the most awkward, poorly-feathered, weird looking things in the world – just like Gutsy. That doesn’t mean we don’t love them, but they sho’ do look funny sometimes!
A constant source of entertainment!
The aerobics shots is so funny. I’ve never seen a bird look like that except maybe some common mynas at the zoo a couple of years ago.
I’ve now begun to notice how the adult peas do the same thing!
I am enjoying this bird.. and your obvious love for it… Gutsy9 is one lucky birdy… and it is so entertaining…
He is hilarious!
He’s a funny little teenager!
Damn he’s cute
That sleeping one is so cute!!
Would you mind if I printed it out for a notebook cover?
Don’t mind at all!
He is soooo adorable.. How so many can fall in love with a ‘baby peacock’ is amazing..Diane
I’m amazed too!
He keeps me in great humor!
Jules thank you so much for sharing Gutsy-9 with us, he is a gift of solid cuteness. He’s got the moves, maybe not like Mick Jagger, more like Jane Fonda in the eighties.:)
Wild life at its tamest.
I worry about him but so far so good!
he is so tired, he just needs to take a little nap!!!
I love watching him nod off – so funny!
He looks so sweet when he’s asleep.
And he dreams too!
My chickens to that when they lay in the sun. However, they are not as cute looking and G9! Julie, I’m so glad you saved him.
I am too!
Nothing better than a baby peacock to bring a smile!
Is it normal for a peacock to sleep on its side like that? I’ve never seen anything like it!
The adult peas do it too but not so flamboyantly!
He cracks me up! So cute! lol!
He is a constant source of amusement!
And so adorable!
