Until yesterday, I didn’t know if Baby Turkey was a male or a female. Now I know. And he most definitely knows!
These turkeys grow up very fast!

Handsome young fellow! 🙂
Impressive, but I guess that’s the point.
so beautiful!
Beautiful creature. Here in the desert right now we’re watching the hawks swoop in to eat the baby ducks. On our (golf) hole we began with a family of 11. Now down to 2. Sad, but such is nature. I believe nature’s fragility is part of what makes her so beautiful.
Wow, turkeys are generally not thought of as beautiful birds, but this one is almost attractive! Lovely plumage and interesting facial colours.
Thanks and good to meet you!
I love turkeys (when they are alive still 🙂 ) I have a few posts about the wild ones – we have lots of those all around, but they act just the same as your boy!
We don’t get any wild ones so you are lucky!
Very pretty. Now I feel bad. We’re having a turkey for supper tomorrow. Oh dear! But I’m sure he didn’t have as good a life as yours is having.
I love turkey (as in food) but am not eating this guy!
Hi,
He is gorgeous, such a pretty colour as well. 😀
Oh, he is so gorgeous! Great shots hon! 🙂
*hugs*
A fine fellow. Still not sure about their faces though – just not what you’d expect on that imposing body!
I know what you mean about their faces – hehe!
Soooo cute! Er, I mean handsome….
He certainly has the strut thing going for such a young fella.
I think he learned that strut from Bubble, our slightly older turkey – ha!
wow, that is tremendous, yup he is a male! do you have a female too?, will she sit? or are you growing them for thanksgiving..c
I am not eating them – no way. We have Baby Turkey, another male and one female. I have no idea if they will procreate!
He’s beautiful. I’ve never seen a brown/tan? turkey before. No wonder he’s strutting his stuff.
I’m not even sure what breed he is because I got him when he was a baby!
Great photos Julie – he is one stunning specimen of a male……………….. (turkey).
I suppose I should find out what kind of turkey he is with his unusual colouring!
I never knew turkeys could be so absolutely gorgeous!
Neither did I!
He looks fabulous!
A proud bird!
That’s for sure!
Formerly baby turkey is stunningly beautiful.
I agree!
