Sebastopol sarcasm

on December 2, 2011

Diamond: Hey, Woody, I think I found a wing. Can we Sebastopols fly?

Woodroffe: No, we can’t fly and what the hell are you doing now, Di? Oh, I can’t look – you are so embarrassing.

Diamond: I think I found my genitals and I might not be a girl after all.

Woodroffe: How thrilling. So what would you like me to call you now – Dick?

Dick: Why do you always have to be so sarcastic, Woody?

How adorable these little ones are. Must be hard to resist picking them up all the time and stroking their soft downy feathers.

  2. As a subscriber, I get an emailed version of your posts but without the pictures. This doesn’t work so well when the pictures are the key to your post.

    Very cute and fun!

for some reason your new post is not showing here on your site. it is not only entertaining and well written but (forgive the therapist in me) just now glimpsing the writer. the husband is living, the son is suffering as all teens must, and you are exhausted. it is manifesting in the flu and the abundance of birds, please take steps to care for yourself. as one first timer to another I think there are no rules with the exception of language and such. some blog like clockwork, others are less trained, therefore spontaneous.

I love checking my email and there is a notice you have shared some glimmer of the wingeds lives and of yours. switching to your site to see the pics is easy enough and not sure there is a way to fix that issue.

please keep writing, it is a joy for others and therapeutic for you. have you considered another blog focused on being the caregiver? your ability to communicate so brilliantly about a subject so many are struggling with would benefit many and one in particular (you).

husband like myself will follow his path, son will grow older and you decide how to live your life. be well dear lady.

What a kind response to a deleted post! Yes, I felt it was the kind of post that belonged in a different blog so I quickly deleted it before too many people saw it!

I did have a short-lived blog called ‘dementia dialogues’, subtitled ‘bright respite’ but I ran out of bright things to say!

Thank you so much for your comment. I will take the time to digest it.
