Sebastopol geese don’t look real; they look fairytaleish. Here are my latest photos of Woodroffe.
Woodroffe does a lot of swimming and preening.
Somehow the shoes don’t seem to go with the rest of the outfit, do they!
One of the most beautiful things about Woodroffe is that he has no idea how breathtakingly beautiful he is.
When I look at him, and he looks back at me, I feel a sense of absolute peace.
I’ve never seen that type of goose before. Where are they from originally?
I have no idea – I should know shouldn’t I! Somewhere in Europe?
I just want to break out in song: Geese, geese, glorious geese….and so on.
Is there a note of sarcasm here or am I just over-sensitive – hahahahah!
No. I want to live in your backyard somewhere. Birds and animals is (sic) such wonderful things.
You may visit but you may not move in – hehe!
Woodroffe has a beautiful name as well. ~ Lynda
Named after Husband’s famous great-grandfather, the surveyor, George Woodroffe Goyder. Only thing is I have a sneaking suspicion he is a she!
Can I please have one of his babies when he has them Julie?
Of course!!!
I think you should start a bloggers’ retreat on your property – what a lovely environment in which to relax!
That’s a great idea – so when are you coming over?
