ok – have a fairytale photo to post 🙂 stay tuned — maybe will cheer me … one of my most awful days…. going to beg for hip replacements very soon — just fearing that if they are not the answer – I’m really out of luck — u holding up ok?
Just read your beautiful fairytale post and sussed out Julie’s blog – fantastic!
Hip replacements sounds like a great idea – my brother had one and it was a great success – am crossing fingers for you, Robyn. When will you know if you can have this procedure?
thanks julie! lots of controversy… after so many failed surgeries – and wonky connective tissue, my body may not be capable of dealing with prosthetic joints… also am not classic “bone on bone” yet in the hips – so atypical to replace for someone like me with pain that may emanate from other structures too… will need lots of research and opinions… 1.5 years ago I begged for them and they made me to do a bone carving surgery which has left me worse for sure… Very tough – and my husband is very wary of more surgeries as he feels i can end up even more disabled ;( Ahhh- if only we had that magic wand Julie !! xxoo
yes – julie’s work is fabulous…feel badly that I’d not been following her (till now!) and she’s a wonderful writer!! Glad you liked our ‘fairtytale’ post 🙂
I have some real photographers following this blog so, in that context, they aren’t great photos but I’m not a photographer so just take pictures. So thanks for the compliment!
I love the birds, I’m allergic the dander on their skin, so I can’t have my own, but I feed the wild birds (and we have a menagerie of them in the summer), do you keep the feathers once they fall out? You are so lucky to have these beautiful creatures around you all the time.
It’s a deal! You’ll have to remind me though because I am forgetting everything lately – my email is juligoyder@gmail.com – I probably already told you that – argh – it’s after midnight so am going to bed after posting ‘tomorrow’s’ post – hehe!
When I saw these pictures of your beautiful white Pea girl I think of my kitty GiGi. she is about 75% white with tabby, patch & tortie markings on her. But is is more the sweet innocent look they both have. Thanx for the lovely pictures
i love it! they are free! too high for anyone to touch or mess with or hurt…….oh to b one of them for one day
I feel that too!
majestic
They were making a hell of a noise on the roof this morning!
they wanted their pictures taken, so they made noise to get your attention – reminds me of my family (lol)
haha – you are so right!

Thanks!
Beautiful birds! Why are you always getting up when I’m winding down? 😉
I know what you mean! That’s the problem with living downunder-ha!
Well I can take part of the blame living upover…I guess… 🙂
Haha!
That first photo looks like it belongs in a Walt Disney movie Julie!! xo
Come to think of it – it all seems a bit Walt Disneyish sometimes!
🙂 life can be that way — i love fairytales!!
Me too!

Beautiful. I’ll bet they’re loud. Do they wake you up?
YES!!!! They make a hell of a noise on the roof!
Good looking bird. Surprised at the grey sky. Thought it would be brighter.
I wish! It’s very wintery here now – not like you get it – but still cold!

There are feathers everywhere – do you want some?
I would love some, email me at freefullife@gmail.com and I’ll give you my address, that is so kind of you to offer, thank you

good night
Loftier heights than their spots in the afternoon – what a sight to see in the morning – lovely
Yes it is!
Julie, I loved this! The first one with the camellia was perfect! ~ Lynda
I would love to get a professional photographer out here to take some photos to make me rich and famous – hehe!
I love it! If I had peacocks on my roof, I would definitely grab the camera to take a few shots.
Yes I need to do this more! Today 6 peacocks were on the garage roof as I came back from the local shop but I didn’t have my camera – argh.
Oh, to be able to fly up there with those beautiful creatures!
They really like to be up high all the time – either in trees or on the roofs of house and sheds!
I remember when we had the escapees from the zoo in the back yard that they were way up high in one of our huge pine trees.
I have heard a few of these stories now – they obviously like to have holidays away from zoos?
I know if I was in a zoo, I’d always be trying to escape!!
I think most zoos are pretty good these days but I am in a small country town so dunno!
There’s that beautiful white peacock. I never thought I’d ever see one in person after I saw the pictures in your blog.
Our male is beginning to display his fan more and more – haven’t been able to get a photo yet!

You GiGi sound beautiful!
That is magic, of a beautiful sort. That would lift my spirits.
They are beautiful aren’t they!
