beautiful birds!
Woody is always so calm in amongst all the activity!
I love the curly feathers!
It’s be breed – Sebastopol – unfortunately they can’t fly.
I just want to give him a hug, he looks so fluffy.
When I give him a hug it’s surprising how those soft looking feathers are actually quite abrasive – sort of stiff.
Oh, how lovely it would be to just lay in the sun all day every day. You tell Woodroffe that I love him.
I just told him!
Stunning photos Julie… can’t get over the curls on Woodroffe. Looks almost ‘vain’ here 🙂 xo
Diamond is the other sebastopol but s/he is much more aloof and less relaxed – interesting.
He’s not as vain as Godrey!
look at all those feathers!!!!
They shed a hell of a lot in summer – looks like snow!
I can vouch for that one!!! Bob complains that it looks messy and in the past I would to go out and try to rake them all up! LOL! Now that we have a bag for the riding mower it sucks them all up along with the grass clippings. 😉
Bob sounds quite a lot like the way Anthony was!
Hahahahaaa! YUP.
love the eyes shut enjoying the sunshine..
He is a very relaxed gander!
I love those gorgeous curly feathers too – they’re certainly a beautiful bird.
I’m not sure if they are a rare breed of goose or not – they are certainly hard to find over here in WA!
oh to have bills, and have no bills to pay
Yes – heaving a big alas sigh!
They are quite pretty birds – those white fluffy feathers….
What do you mean ‘quite pretty’ – they are spectacular – hehe!
I stand corrected! Perhaps I was too reserved when commenting on your spectacular birds! xo
Haha – I was only kidding around.
I must say, I could quite fall in love with this guy. He’s gorgeous!
I think you need to be a goose!
ha! who says I’m not? I never said I wasn’t a goose. I’m actually quite a silly goose.
Actually I think I am too!
I think you are correct!
And I have ignored your tongue twisting encouragements!
awww heck!
They are so lovely, so lovely… Thank you dear Julie, you captured amazing shots. Love, nia
I’m lucky to have them.
I wonder what makes him so calm! I can only do that when I’ve taken some medication!
He often just dozes in amongst all the flurry of the other geese.
I can’t get over those curly feathers!
They look like something out of a fairy tale don’t they!
Oh what gorgous birds love these photos made me feel good to see them thank you………….
Thank you!
He reminded me of a character in Swan Lake ballet.
I didn’t think of that – yes!
Still in love with him!! Barb.
Me too!
A couple of those birds look like someone forgot to do a little ironing……….lol
Yes they are definitely rather bedraggled in some ways!
