When Ming was born the youngest of Anthony’s nephews and nieces was 20 years old. Here is a picture of S. and Ming (it’s a bit water damaged – check out the funny ghost in the window!)
Sixteen years later and S. has his own little son and here is Ming holding him. I love the resemblance of the two photos, both taken in our kitchen.

I hope that stove wasn’t on or the baby would have toasted fingers. Very cute babies, and interesting how the background settings are so alike.
I think it was on but that bit doesn’t get hot!
I love when that happens! That’s why we keep boxes of old photos..put them in a book and they get put on a shelf. Keep them in a box and you never know WHAT you are going to find. Any luck with the Mag Glass?

Not yet re the stupid magnifying glass – before Ants went into the nursing lodge he used to hide things everywhere (due to his PDD) so it could be anywhere!
Perhaps the lodge has one you could borrow for the afternoon? Worth a ring yeah?
They never have anything like that – not even a corkscrew for a bottle of wine.
well that’s just not right!
Lovely photos.
I love how family members can look so much alike when they are babies…………..loved the photos………
It’s like history is repeating itself – kind of!
What a lovely comparison… a small piece of history… wonderful…
Yes Ming and his cousin look a lot alike now that Ming is (as he keeps telling me) a man!
love this – love the look on Ming’s face
He went through about ten dummies – ha!
lol
loved the photos and your black and white tiled floor!!!
That is just amazing — and yes uncanny for sure Julie… These 2 photos are remarkably similar. Life is funny sometimes isn’t it? Made me smile 🙂 xo
It really like it’s the same photo .. now and then. Ming are a very handsome young man.
Thanks!
That is so neat! What a great pair of photos!
They look great… Loved them. But I love your kitchen too 🙂 especially this red kitchen stove! Do you know I am thinking to have a red concept in my new kitchen… your kitchen inspired me dear Julie, Thank you, love, nia
Oh that red aga is the best thing in this house!
A really lovely contrast in photos yet the connnection is obvious. I love too Jules that they are both alike even in the pose.
Ming smiles is so cute, looking quite conten and rellaxed which is unusual for a kid his age. I think you and Ants have created a sweetheart of a young man. How refreshing!
What a great scrapbook layout they would make, or a shadow box with a great spot left in viewing to add a bit a bit of storyteling. You could even just use what you have written here. Move it to a word file and resize the text to thes spot size you have. I’m thinking out side my head here.
Keep em cooming Jules. Love seeing more of your & Anthony’s life. Your pal, BB
You are so brilliant!
