Hierarchies

on August 16, 2012

Our three white peafowl are treated as inferior beings by the coloured peafowl (except for the two who flirt with each other).

Thanks for the leftovers guys!

  2. that vivid blue is amazing– I love all facets of your blog — from the personal to the birds — when I see your name in my email I go directly to you

  3. Just goes to show that instinctual attraction trandscends differences. Sounds like I’m trying to say that we should all just get it on for peace…but I’m not…or am i???

  4. I could’ve really enjoyed that lettuce in a salad tonight. Sigh! But your birds probably needed it more.

  5. Dear Julie,

I absolutely love your blog – all of it. Your love story is very beautiful, and I enjoy the way you write.
I, too, love animals of all kinds, especially the birds, and I have a whole blog dedicated to them. Since I am a passionate Martial Artist, well, in my blog, all the animals are, too.
I don’t normally send out links to my blog(s), but I thought you might get a smile out of this one:

Aww… who cares if they are stuck up, they are beautiful birds! BTW, I recently put everybody into my reader on WordPress…

I have been wondering in the back of my mind where you (and several others) got off to. Grrrr… you either didn’t get properly entered into the system (my fault) or the WPGang dumped you. I don’t know which, but I will be going backwards in time this morning to read what I missed. 😉
