The bird is growing at a great rate.
I am researching how to cultivate mealworms because a one kilo bag costs $80 – can you believe it? Obviously, I have only bought one of these so far and am going to use them to make my own.
This is so gorgeous. Here I am in Australia, sharing this little bud’s life. Love it!

Mealworms cost 80 a bag? Highway robbery I say! Gutsy-9 is growing by leaps and bounds.
I am doing heaps of research as to how to breed them! The worms I mean.

There is, apparently, only one supplier around here so I might make a fortune if I figure out how to breed them!

Julie. YUM ?? I don’t see mealworms as your basic YUM meal, I had ham, much better than mealworms any day, but then I am not a baby peacock, so what do I know. Take care, Bill

Not often, but I didn’t know the origination. The worms look like my grub worms. I’ll always remember the Australianism now. 🙂
Looks disgusting, but at that price I think you need to build a mealworm farm.
