Food, glorious food

on July 25, 2013

I have rediscovered cooking! Yesterday it was sticky date pudding. I don’t like sweets myself but Anthony and Ming are ecstatic and I am thrilled about this new chapter in our lives.

I like puns – so here they come! You’re pudding things together by making a date to get sticky. 🙂

    Looks yummy.

(I too started cooking a couple of days ago. It’s been years since i baked a cake and I baked 2 in 2 days. Mine didn’t look as good as your cooking efforts, but the they tasted ok).

  4. Looks delicious. I can’t “re”discover cooking, I guess, until I discover it in the first place…

    😀

  13. So how do you make it?

I love to cook, love to feed people. For me, it’s a creative outlet and an expression of love. To the boys, chocolate cakes and pumpkin rolls are close to heaven:) Your sticky pudding looks awesome.

Cooking is very therapeutic, particularly when accompanied by very loud music of choice and one or two glasses of bubbly 🙂

  17. Sticky Date Pudding. We don’t have that here in the States, but it looks yummy. I like how you describe your little family as Sticky Date Pudding. Keep cooking!

Julie, I am sure the love you add to the mixture has a lot to do with how much Ants and Ming enjoy your efforts. Keep cooking, they will keep eating LOL LOL. Take care, btw that pudding looks great !!! — Bill
