locked up in The Peacock penthouse until after the grape harvest! No chicks this year though.. the one did not survive, but there is always next year.. c
Mine are all madly flirting around and about (as they have no penthouse ha!) I wonder if I will get another Gutsy! Good luck Cecilia. I would send you a camellia if I could. xxx
Lovely looking peacock – ruff at the front looks very nice. The green and white would not go down well in certains parts of the West of Scotland where red, white and blue would be more acceptable.
Julie, I would have never guessed when he was a chick that he would turn out so perfectly marked! I especially like his ruffled jabot! It makes him look regal.
When does Gutsy grow his long plumed feathers, Julie?
(not that he doesn’t look pretty impressive as he is).
He’s getting so, so big!!
Wow Gutsy 9 has turned out to be a beaut… does he still want to perch on your shoulder?? lol
Ah…the freshness of a teenager!
lol. nothing quite like the lack of guile with a teenager. love that straight-on, eye to eye shot jules. he’s a doll 🙂
Just after that shot he pecked at the camera!
haha! that, of course, is also very teenage-ish of him.
Wow, Julie, he’s really grown into a handsome young fellow!! 🙂
Look how handsome he is and how much he has grown.:D
Ah!!! He is so beautiful!
Follows me everywhere.
He loves you
look how big he is!!!! amazing!
Does he know how lucky he is to be here? Remember how you were going to give him the axe because of his bad feet? That was close!
Very close!
How handsome he is!
Gorgeous bird, Julie.
Is that the one with the for problem? he looks great.. c
He’s okay now – and yours?

He looks like a Glasgow Celtic supporter.
When did you first have peacocks? They’re such exotic creatures …
2 years now!
He has grown so much, peacocks are so beautiful
Congratulations. Your baby has grown into a beautiful boy.
Just found your blog again – sorry! I keep having little blog breaks.
