Aww…Nice and cozy. I forget you’re going into winter. Hello to Anthony.

So it’s cold over there in WA too, Julie.

I’ve had the panel heaters on for a couple of weeks (in the late afternoon, after I get home from my walks). Do you live north or south of Perth?

    • jmgoyder says:

      SW – freezing!

I keep thinking you’re in the north. When my brother & his first wife lived in Fremantle 32 years ago, I stopped to stay for a couple of weeks on the way home from London, so my views of WA are coloured by that short stay. We visited a family friend of my brothers’ on a large sheep farm and got lots of leech bites (& those suckers really DO hang on.. I think of you on a similarly landscaped area as that one.

No, we are in the deep south – ha!

is he back under that blanket?! I bet that line was delivered in an ironic baritone! c

  7. Great sense of humor showcasing post Jules. It also is a wonderful tribute to what I am sure is Anthony’s humor too. How absolutely delightful.

    I have to share:
I recognize that blanket, and ours sits on my husband’s lap as…… He can never get warm! It could be 85 degress F. and he’d still be freezing. Until he’s not. Then the front and back door are flung open for a cross breeze that lasts until he is freezing again. Grr… and I have so little to biych abou really. Shame on me….

I love this photo I suppose because I can relate to it so well. ~ I told D about how I think I’ll not be as gracious towards him as he gets older and developes disease. He laughed.. said that’s not possible… I did not laugh and only replied, “Oh you just don’t really know me like you think you do. Things create changes in people we don’t see coming. \

I learn so much from you about life’s realities. Thanks so much for it Jules!

Yes, he does seem to be saying that! Love the expression.

  11. Love that picture of Anthony!

I am having to play catch up with post as I am traveling. Am on pins and needles to know if all is going well. Seems odd that you are freezing when we are getting ready to dive head first into summer.
