I know this happens to lots of us but, just as I was clearing the spam (which I had given up checking because it’s always spammy), I noticed a couple of familiar names just as they were whooshed away into the place where deleted stuff goes.
So far I have never not accepted a comment and have tried to reply as well, so, if I haven’t done either, it means you’ve somehow ended up in the spam. Not my fault but I’m sorry anyway.

There have been a couple of people that have ended up in spam of late, no doubt WP tinkering again, and it is very easy to delete them out with all the real spam. I always skim through the spam now just in case. 🙂

Is it still in the Trash box maybe (or did you ‘delete forever’). I’ve had a couple of spam in the past that looked like potential strangers who I hadn’t seen before, but ended up deleting their comment – I guess I’ll never know if they were genuine or not, since their written English was too poor for me to judge fairly.
Gone forever I’m afraid!

No worries, this happens to me when I try to read 2 or 3 days of blogs and haven’t cleaned out the deleted items from my email, it never fails I accidentally delete a blog before reading it and then can’t find it in all the ‘deleted’ stuff, I’m sure it happens to everyone.

Now worries. We all do this from time to time. I get tons of spam. Sometimes I get overwhelmed and just hit delete without scanning through them to see if there are any real comments that went in by accident.
I am going to be more careful from now on!
