Godfrey: FOLLOW ME, EVERYONE!
Bubble (whispering): Baby Turkey, I have a plan. We’ll humour the old grouch for a few minutes and then we’ll pounce.
Baby Turkey: What does ‘pounce’ mean?
Bubble: You’ll see.
Gang: Oh no – not again!
Geese: Since when did Daffy lead the way?
Daffy: I’m the one most terrified of Godfrey.
Godfrey: That’s it – Hup, two three four, hup, two, three, four! Come on, turkeys, keep up!
Bubble: You grab his wings and I’ll peck his eyes out.
Baby Turkey: Oh, is that what you meant by ‘pounce’? Yes – let’s do it!

now we all know what pounce is!
Yes!
Does every day involve this bossy workout? It’s altogether possible that there could be tears before bedtime for Godfrey one of these days…
Yes, he really does summon them and they follow!
Brilliant …. you’re so funny – scared of turkey – evil things … glad the gooses was going for it.
If you came here you would learn to love turkeys!
Are you sure ????? I think I stick to gooses.
Those turkeys come right up to all visitors, fluff themselves out and say hello. They love to be patted!
That’s is not the type of turkeys I know … *smile … you have trained them well *laughter
Yes, from babies. Foxes killed most of them and now we just have these two handsome fellows!
You grab his wings I’ll peck his eye out! Love it…. 😉
They tried but Godfrey won the skirmish!
I think that you’ve caught them doing the goose step there.
I should have used that as the title!
Must have a dirty mind, thought pounce had a different meaning…
Oh – sorry!
that was too cute!!!!! just like kids……….lol
Worse!
It’s an uprising!
And they did attack him!
run godfrey run…
They are starting to ignore him a bit which he doesn’t like!
Silly you are Julie ~ 🙂 xo
ha!
I’m going to be silly in a minute too… really need some comic relief at this point…don’t think I’ve lost my mind 🙂 xo
I hate to admit it, but I would love to see an attempt at mutiny, though it could get bloody.i remember a movie when a guy was making the moves on a girl and he resorted to” the pounce”.
The turkeys actually DID attack Godfrey but the picture I took wasn’t clear. Godfrey won the battle!
Poor Godfrey, he’s working hard to keep everyone in order.
Not ‘poor Godfrey’! He is a bully!
I love the second to last picture. They look so synchronized!
They wouldn’t dare not be!
They are so lovely…. you made me smile. Thank you dear Julie, have a nice weekend, love, nia
I am ‘posing’ your pillow covers for a photo shoot for tomorrow’s post – I am absolutely thrilled with this gift – you are so great Nia!
So that is what pounce means………….I have learnt something today…………..
I think it also has vulgar connotation – whoops!
It’s a jungle out there…
Yes indeed!
