Hope

on October 9, 2012

In the morning, Ming and I are going into town to an appointment with someone who will help us to cope with each other, the farm and Anthony’s deterioration.

I told Ants about this appointment when I saw him this afternoon with my red wine and he wanted to come along too but I said I couldn’t take him as it was too early in the morning etc. etc. and then I finally admitted to him that Ming’s anger would only be exacerbated if Ants were present.

“So he hates me then,” Anthony said, spilling his wine.

“No, Ants, he hates both of us at the moment,” I said.

“But why?”

“Because you are so sick and I am so sad.”

“Okay – just come here afterwards.”

And we will.

I love how honest and practical both you and Anthony are. It’s pretty normal for Ming to be angry now, and you accept that.

I commented, and it disappeared. Hope I’m not duplicating this, but I love how honest and practical you and Anthony are. It’s pretty normal for Ming to feel angry now, and you accept that.

Hope is believing it will get better and when you know it is not going to really get better, it is saying “yes!” to life.Glad that you are embarking on this journey of hope. Jane

We were reassured – it was a wonderful experience to get some feedback on what is wrong even though we already knew what was wrong – if you know what i mean!

    A very wise move.

Negative emotions, while understandable at this time, do not bode well for healthy relationships.

When they happen, they need to be channelled into a positive and healing direction, not have a destructive one.

Good luck – hope the end result is healthful .
