It was so funny. I have never seen this before and poor Daffy was terrified until I intervened. I am not sure what it was all about but it is spring here and I think there might be a few issues to do with that – ha!
I wish it was spring here! It’s white with snow and my lips are chapped and I’m having to dress in layers! Love your birds Julie. How big is your property? How many birds do you have?
It looks like the gooses and the dunks are not too impressed with his fancy feathers. I suppose in the Spring – there is hot feeling everywhere and whatever is available. Great shot .. thanks for the smile.
I can’t access your photographs… this is a case where the WORDS “white peacock chases indian runner duck” created such an image in my mind that made me SMILE….
Look at him! He’s saying– “I might be pretty, but I am one tough macho man…er, bird.”

awwww, the time of new beginnings!
Wish it was Spring here!
I bet you do!
It’s getting cold but I have bought some New Zealand possum and merino wool gloves and a hat to keep me warm.
They work very well.
But what did the runner duck say to elicit that behaviour? Hope it was jolly rude! 😉
He said, ‘You aren’t that beautiful!’
What an exciting poultry yard you have. It would be too much for my nerves.
It’s getting a bit much for my nerves too!
Run ducky run… the peacocks getting cross….

100 acres and altogether around 45-50 domestic birds + heaps of wild ones – I am lucky!
Ahh lovely. I love walking your property would give me walking joyful bliss!
I wish you could visit!
Good thing he’s a “runner.”

The photos weren’t that wonderful and your mind pics are probably better!
I have to go on the internet to find out what an indian runner duck looks like! I got that right, didn’t I – indian runner duck…. 😉
Did you find pic? Is it just my photos you can’t see or everyone’s?
Everyone’s. I can access the internet, up to a point, but not the blogs! It takes WAY too long for the download… and it never happens.
I had trouble too with pics to begin with and then I fixed it (but I can’t remember how – ha!)
Well, I can’t access them. So many blogs with so many photos. I can’t keep up! I wish I had the money other people have.
Funny! Glad you caught this on film. ~ Lynda
Looking again, it almost seems as if the geese are protecting Daffy, and telling off the Peacock! 😉
I think they actually were!
That’s too funny!
