Gutsy9 isn’t quite sure about my mother’s weird canary, Andre, who I am babysitting while she is in hospital. Five months ago they were the same size!

That is very hard to believe 😉
5 months ago? !!!
That is so cute…’caption…”do you want to come out and play?” …Diane
Julie, thank you very much, this really helps me keep in perspective just how much Gutsy 9 has grown. Take care, Bill
so cute the little tuft on the back of Gutsy9’s head 🙂
I love her face in the 2nd picture down….. 🙂
I can’t believe how big Gutsy9 is! You have done a great job, Mother Julie!
Gutsy9 sure has grown… there is something to compare his/her size with… getting a big bird… does it still want to perch on your shoulder…????
The pictures are adorable! Gutsy-9 has such personality.:)
Interesting colours on Gutsy.
Surreal art now. You are wide ranging in your skills.
I love Gutsy9… I’m beginning to know him. :))) What a beautiful bird!
Gosh, that really does emphasize how much he has progressed!
Yeah look at him now……………………he has grown so much……………
Gutsy9 is looking very healthy indeed 😀
It is amazing! Although I don’t have “pet” birds, the wild songbirds that visit my feeders everyday keep me at the kitchen window. I love watching them!
Actually, “Gutsy9” seems to me like a cat… 🙂 I love this lovely one. Thanks and Love, nia
A cat? Haha – actually you are right!
Good photos. Saw a pair of mute swans building a nest at Baron’s Haugh in Motherwell (Scotland) yesterday so there should be some young soon.
The Peregrine at New Lanark has laid an egg and the Osprey at Loch of the Lowes near Dunkeld is due to lay this week.
Will you take photos?
I took a photo of the nest using my spotting scope. A Coot was sitting on the nest while one of the Swans was building it.
The Peregrine at New Lanark has laid an egg last week and Lady, the 26 year old Osprey at Loch of the Lowes near dunkeld is due to lay this week.
I will be making on trek on the bus (cheap fare!) to Dunkeld and walk the few miles to Loch of the Lowes.
Will load the photos later. I will also go to New Lanark as well.
Exciting times.
Gutsy9 is getting so big!
