Julie, Clearly better planning is needed on your part, it would amost appear the birds are chasing you down LOL LOL. Take care, make more stale bread. — Bill
They would scare the heck out of me if they came at my camera like that. (I’ve had a few run-ins with swans which I put in the same category as geese) – LOL.
Well, for once Godfrey has something to complain about!
Ha!
Awwww. Poor things – you can just see their disappointment – look at their little faces. 🙂
Especially Woodroffe, the one in the forefront.
Is that their pecking order?
No, I’d already kicked Godfrey out of the photo shoot.
Oh dear! You’ll have to fix that!
I found some stale hot cross buns – ha!
ha ha ruffled some feathers there!!
Yes, they were a bit annoyed!
Oh so fun! Are they Toulousse?
Sebastopols and Pilgrims.
How guilty does that make you feel huh? Diane
Very! Haha.

I will not run out of bread again!
Um, I think you should run!
Woodroffe actually sucked my hand , thinking there was bread on it!
Haha–that’s great. Clever blog post idea!
Thanks for stopping by my site even though you couldn’t see it. I appreciate it. 🙂
I subscribed to your blog but it still won’t let me in – I will suss out tomorrow.
They are so cute! But I think I would be a little nervous with them all coming at me like that.
They’re all gentle except Godfrey.
me too – for lunches today
That’s hysterical and much worse!
That front one has some serious fluff going on!
That’s Woodroffe, one of the Sebastopols.
Wow…
Oh dear! How could you? 🙂
The guilt!
How could … you run out of bread, Julie … *laughing.
They are so wonderful … and those curly ones are so cute and wired.
I adore them and they adore bread!
Do they ever attack??
Just Godfrey!
You ran out of bread what a terrible think good thing they didn’t riot…………..lol
They almost did!
How can you do that to them.??.. hope you had a back up plan…
They weren’t that keen on the hot crossed buns!

And swans seem so gentle!
There’s a small Tesco metro near where I live so I often go there after 7.00 pm and buy some loaves at 10 pence or less to feed the birds.
It’s usually on Fridays when I can go to Strathclyde Park on Saturday mornings to feed the birds.
Does your local supermarket not sell bread cheap later at night?
Haha – this is a small rural town with one shop and it shuts at 6pm.
They look like they are ganging up on you! Run!
Don’t worry – the only biter is Godfrey and he wasn’t in the group.
