It’s all very odd to me, and possibly illusory, but for the last few days our visits to Anthony, little drives here and there and, today, Ming’s famous NOSEY with Anthony, have reproduced a longlost joy.
Sorry – that sentence was far too long. Oh, and what is a NOSEY? It’s when you ‘kiss’ someone with your nose. We three have now been doing this for nearly 20 years. It’s quite pleasant.
The small joys are the best joys π
For some reason things are getting easier, not harder, even though Ants’ health is deteriorating – weird paradox! Thanks so much for your ongoing interest and support, Tilly!
I think acceptance of a difficult situation makes it easier to bear π
Julie, What a heart warming picture, somewere someplace I have a “nosey” picture of Allison and I. I maybe forced to dig it out. Take care, Bill
Ha – find that picture if you can, Bill.
How lovingly divine.
I didn’t know that’s what nose kisses were called! Do you do butterfly kisses too? with your eye lashes? π
Oh yes! I remember those too – oh the nostalgia!
I think that it’s when it is a singular sign of affection only shared by the immediate family that makes it so extremely special and meaningful. I am so very happy that you are finding joy in the little things, it’s often the little things that have the most meaning. xoxo
a favorite bed time ritual with my boys….love the nosey and the butterfly kisses too. we take our joy where we can find it…glad you all have found some to hang on to. and that photo is priceless.
This puts a smile on my face and a good feeling in my heart…
This is a very adorable photo, full of love.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Love that Eskimo kiss, Julie. I’m glad you have joy today. π
Sweet shot!
It’s the little rituals, isn’t it, Julie? Glad there’s small pools of joy in life still. You all deserve it.
kind of like the Eskimos. it is an awesome way to show love!!!!
What a delightful photo. Just wondering if you & Anthony every used to give Ming ‘butterfly’ kisses when he was little?
(you put their cheek near your eye and blink several times and the resulting cheek tickling with your eyelashes makes them laugh – if you don’t know what a butterfly kiss is).
Good to hear you’ve entered this lovely new phase of acceptance and are enjoying what it brings.
Such a relief!
Precious memories. π
What a gift. That photo exudes joy. My cells can feel the love through your words. I mean that. Got all my digits crossed that the joy expands.
I miss doing those with Dimples! And tickling her with my eyelashes for butterfly kisses.
Hold onto the cherished memories. Let them carry you on waves of joy!
XO
I sure will.
We used to call it “nosey nosey” when we did that with our girls! I LOVE this photo!!
Hugs and Love always, Robyn
Memories!
That’s a lovely coincidence!

Joy of joys π
20 years of nosey sounds like paradise to me. {{{Hugs}}} Kozo
