They were waiting for me outside the back door this morning so I tossed little bits of bread to Queenie but the chicks got to them first, like miniature vultures – gleefully chirping!

I am so hooked on the chicks and how they are doing. R
The crows are a bit hooked too – haha!
So… still problems with ‘doors’ eh? Diane
Yep!
Wow really growing fast….
Yes!
Nice!!!
And very cheeky already!
Those peacock chicks are sooooooo cute.
They are getting their little topknots now!
Is it my imagination or are the ducklings growing at a faster pace?
Much faster!
Reminds me…..my brothers used to call mom “Queenie” until she got mad and made them stop. 🙂 She probably lost lots of crumbs to her chicks too!
Interesting lol!
Queenie and the chicks, sounds like a rock band. They are all so darn cute.
It is a rock band – haven’t you heard of us haha!
Sounds real. Mothers eat last:)
What is wrong with us?
Very cute!
I agree!
Julie, “Miniature vultures,” LMAO what are they going to grow up to be, giant friggin vultures?? Maybe you want to change the name of your blog to “Natures’ Kingdom Down Under.” I have known and loved for a year, and I have learn more about flocks of things than I ever thought possible. The problem is I Love It, I feel like Gutsy’s uncle or something. Keep it coming my dear sweet friend. Take care, Bill
Thanks for that BIG laugh!
I like the non existent back door indicator.
You were supposed to turn up at 8am to fix that door – where are you?
In London. Sorry!
They are so cute! I’m surprised the flock hasn’t figured out that your door isn’t working and stormed the house!
Ha – we still have an ’emergency’ door!
Hi – saw this on tumblr & thought of you.

Congratulation to the new family members!
