They were waiting for me outside the back door this morning so I tossed little bits of bread to Queenie but the chicks got to them first, like miniature vultures – gleefully chirping!

Those peacock chicks are sooooooo cute.

  5. Is it my imagination or are the ducklings growing at a faster pace?

  6. Reminds me…..my brothers used to call mom “Queenie” until she got mad and made them stop. 🙂 She probably lost lots of crumbs to her chicks too!

  7. Queenie and the chicks, sounds like a rock band. They are all so darn cute.

Julie, “Miniature vultures,” LMAO what are they going to grow up to be, giant friggin vultures?? Maybe you want to change the name of your blog to “Natures’ Kingdom Down Under.” I have known and loved for a year, and I have learn more about flocks of things than I ever thought possible. The problem is I Love It, I feel like Gutsy’s uncle or something. Keep it coming my dear sweet friend. Take care, Bill

I like the non existent back door indicator.

They are so cute! I’m surprised the flock hasn’t figured out that your door isn’t working and stormed the house!
