Well, the latter part of that title is me of course. In the last week or so Ming has been an extra in a couple of scenes in a yet-to-be-made movie and next week he’s auditioning for a ‘real’ role.
Oh dear, I got the last bit of the above wrong – Ming is auditioning for the ‘real’ role and he just told me he needs to recite a monologue.
“Can’t you just write me one, Mum?”
That question was amusing a couple of hours ago.
Good luck Ming!! How awesome that he’s doing this (and mom, I think you’ll need a glass of wine)..
haha…love the last line. good luck to both of you! xo
You’re last line says a lot about the last couple hours! You can do it!!!
You have such a delicious sense of humour! 🙂
Oh dear, I feel your anxiety. You’ll be fine as I feel nervous for you at the same time 😀
Well… did you write him one? How did it go?
Diana xo
Well………………………can you write him a monologue in time? (LOL).
Wow, Ming! And, that last line made me laugh.
well at least he trusts his mum, be thankful!!!!!
oh boy, best of luck to both of you )
Poor you.
Australian programmes are popular in the UK.
Ah, sweet boy. 🙂 Good luck, Ming.
“writer’s block” “performance anxiety” hmmmm, interesting challenge
No pressure or anything….
Pinch one from Shakespeare..
Julie, Smiling no pressure at all huh! I am glad he asked you LOL. I would be filled with anxiety as well, hell it’s hard enough to write about things I know. LOL LOL This response has been zero help to you I know, I just wanted to tell you I felt your pain. Take care sweetie. Bill
Woo how exciting I hope all goes great for Ming
Love it… well he knows you write…so of course you can write him a monologue.. ha! Diane
Must he have an original? I mean, there are books just filled with monologues and sililiquies (sp?) Just in case he didn’t realize. I know that sometimes a known bit is preferable. Personally, I think you could write something marvelous!
I wrote something for him but then they gave him something else – argh!
Figures.
Oh, and good luck to both of you!
I think he might be ‘in’!
Great!
How exciting… sure you can write him a monologue
I thought I wrote a brilliant one but in the end he didn’t need it so he owes me a whole day of bloodsweattears – the brat!
He has great faith in you:) Hope you both end up having fun…eventually.
I wrote one (it took hours!) and he didn’t need it after all – argh!
