To any WordPress/or other bloggers, does anyone know an easy way to convert blog format into a Word document for easier editing?

i have no idea, but look forward to the answers as well

    type:

how to transfer wordpress blog to word for book editing

    via Google.

The list of websites appearing will give you more than one method, Julie. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  3. You could highlight the text in your blog post, then copy (Ctrl + C) and then paste (Ctrl + P) it into a word document. I know it’s long winded, but I’m not sure of another way. Hope you get a better answer. Lx

The easiest way to do this is to compose the blog post in Word and then copy and paste it into your blog. Word has helped me to find and fix my mistakes before the entry hit the WordPress page. You can then insert your photos, if any, onto the blog page. If you need to put all your chapters into the blog you can copy and paste them in sequence into your Word program too, but I don’t know if Word is as smart about keeping the format. If word looses the format, that doesn’t matter, because you now have a working draft copy. πŸ˜‰

NOTE: Copy, paste and SAVE each entry into your word document ❀

Third sentence from my comment above:

[In reverse, you can copy each chapter from the blog, then paste them in sequence] into your Word program too, but I don’t know if Word is as smart about keeping the format.

Hm, maybe I need to start writing my comments in Word before posting them? LOL!

I always work from a word document and then copy and paste it to my blog. And the reverse is true, Julie. Select your blog post type, hit copy, and then paste it to a blank Word document.

  6. I tried a few years ago to see if I could get the ‘blog’ transferred to a book format. The only thing I found to work was to copy the text of the blog and paste it into the format I used to create my book. My friend did the same thing when she surprised me with a book of my blog years before.

sorry, no help from me. Good Luck though.

  8. Who I am says:

i keep my chapters in a folder on my desk top. I used to use Create Space, but I had heard they no longer exist. I am wondering the same thing because I may want to publish another book. I sure hope someone has the easiest and most correct way here on your page

  9. Julie, check out this blog, she has written a book and can share her experience.https://rangewriter.wordpress.com/
