There seems to be a disconnection (for me) between WordPress and my google email account – ie. I am not getting any notifications of anyone else’s blogposts. Is anyone else having this problem?

Now that you mention it, I’ve had hardly any notifications also. I must look in my spam box. Last time this happened I was embarrassed to find them all in my spam box (& hadn’t thought to look there).
I was actually glad of the rest (as I had a lot of photocopying & scanning to do for some family history writing). LOL.
Nothing in the spam either, which is unusual – yes I know what you mean about the rest! Obviously it must be a WP glitch?
Had trouble with emails yesterday but think it’s calmed down now. You getting them yet?
No – not getting any and usually a comment comes up as an email – weird!
Sure is, there was a post earlier today stating that WP are looking into this issue. Lots of bloggers have been commenting on this. I’ve lost a whole heap of blogs that I follow from my reader recently too. It seems to be a systems network thing. Hope it gets fixed soon.

my email notifications are fine but for days, my reader was empty and some people who have commented before would end up in my spam comments…
It’s weird – all comments are here but no email notifications for anything – and no spam either. I’m sure it will come out in the wash – ha!
I’ve had all these problems, and wordpress keeps locking up on me, I type and nothing comes out or it’s like the program is stuck, I first thought it was my computer, but I’m only having problems with wordpress,
I think it must be wordpress because I had what you describe the other day – typed up a post, saved it and then checked and all words were gone except title of post! I am still having problems of one sort or another – no wordpress related emails at all!
I’ve had problems in the past but not today – yet!

I noticed it on June 12th when I had problems loading my article on Lochleven Castle. Took two days to load the text and images. That’s why I moved over to Blogspot and bought my own domain name for it – http://www.caledonianwalks.com.
I emailed them and gave then an image with the errors on it told them what was wrong but I never heard from them.
Okay – I will figure out how to email them and see what happens. In meantime I will just go into wordpress instead of checking emails first – thanks Jane!
my inbox is a little sparse today but I will wait and see.Sometimes getting both an email and an email of the notice -does that make sense?
I am still getting no wordpress notifications via my email at all!
For me, it was different, posting to your blog for a while. Had to go through google. Maybe that’s what caused the problem.
Hopefully it will all pan out – wordpress is still acting weird for me!
Not having that exact problem but having some other minor little problems, especially with my reader.. but they seem to come go.
I seem to be having a variety of problems with wordpress – all comments are here – but no notifications of your posts or any of the other blogs I subscribe to – not sure whether to wait and hope or what.
In meantime I will search people’s blogs and try to keeps up!
I am having problems with reader.. in that blogs I follow aren’t coming up. And also I noticed that I have “liked” a post and then come back to it later and my “like” has disappeared.
It must be a general problem?
Do you use the reader to access blogs you subscribe to? My way is to check emails so I’m not sure what to do except wait?

I just use the reader and go to blogs I follow… I don’t get emails cause I get too many emails as it is 😉

Just one of the many reasons why I created my own system for tracking things. I started blogging five years ago, and learned about four years ago, not to depend on anyone else.
Is your system a secret? I can see these comments but I am not getting notifications of anything wordpressy so am having to search out my blog buddies!
