The utterfly looks
for the B that will heal it
under the grey rocks.
The utterfly has
enormously big nostrils,
like big purple eyes.
The utterfly finds
its missing B in the hug
of an old, old man.
The utterfly finds
its missing B in the smile
of a young, young man.
The utterfly speaks,
sheds its mothy shabbiness,
enfolds its own B …
And becomes a butterfly.
Now its my turn to have you cause mr to cry… How beautiful in such a stunning & shining way. Utterfly, I so love her.
you are touching deeply my friend,
You are a butterfly!
aww Jules twice in one night?

Jules I’d love to reblog this on Baroness blog? Woud you then come make a comment about it?
Please? I want to have a copy of this -I have been here 3x’s today, to feel empowered by your amazing utterfly. Thanks my dear friend!
Of course you can!
awesome!1 Be sure to come and comment for me. Thank you!
dONE!
muuwahh! Thank you!
I wish I could write haikus. Jealous.
You can! You just do 5 syllables for the first and 3rd lines and 7 for the middle line. It’s fun. I didn’t do this well because each of the ‘verses’ was supposed to be spaced but wp format took over – argh!
Yes, I taught this to my kids in English. I know the mechanics; I could never THINK of what to write. Mine always sounded so elementary. Guess I’m not very poetic…
Well I think you are very poetic!
I will certainly take that as a compliment from an English professor – THANKS – but will I have to submit one for a grade??? 🙂
Haha!
Lovely Haiku. Wishing you a very happy weekend. 🙂
You too!!!
You just know you’re going to get people commenting ‘This isn’t a haiku’…

Haha – I should have said a series of haikus?
Oh they’d have marched in with their tackety boots about that too! 😀
You have me intrigued so have just clicked ‘follow’ on your blog!
That’s kind of you. I wish I could follow everyone I visit, but I only have about half-an-hour each day to do my blogging and reading.
I think I might have too much time on my hands – ha – that can be a bad thing!
Loved this Julie — I need to find my ‘B’ ~ maybe soon?! You did a great job keeping to haiku form with a lengthier piece — and it’s so witty! xxooo Hope you are hanging in in over there — Ming too ~ Sending Hugs! R
You too Robyn with that hip!
How I love this one Julie… gave me a real good pickup this morning…
Thanks Bulldog!
