“The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you’ve ever had.” That saying just sprang to mind when I looked at these photos…
Proving once again that animals provide the best therapy. I never knew the value of a lap dog until one of my sons “gifted” us, and now she’s Rick’s best friend. Ha! He talks more to her than me. The pictures are very sweet.
Beautiful.
Gutsy9 loves Ants!
Lovely photos.
Ants was having a hard time with the heat though,
Do they allow animals (well, maybe not Gutsy) in Anthony’s place?
Yes! They all know Gutsy now.
They are so wonderful together and so peaceful. 🙂
They calmed each other.
What a touching photo…Diane
It was a lovely couple of hours.
Just looking at the photos makes me smile 😀 bet you were beaming.
Yes!
There is such a gentleness in Anthony…
Exactly – he is the literal definition of a gentle man.
it shows in these photos and your past posts which sometimes show a gruff exterior but the underlying gentleness has always been revealed!
Beautiful pictures!
Thanks!
I see a real connection here – I think you are onto something Julie!
I think you are right!

What a perfect way of describing our afternoon – perfect.
Stop making me cry-happy or I will fall off the bike!

I now realize that G9 is a kind of lap dog! He’s on my lap right now.
OH ~ this is beautiful Julie xxoo
It was!
Beautiful photos, Julie. 😃
Thanks!
Bulldog has said it all.
He certainly has.
so lovely, 🙂
Yes.
it sends shivers down my spine to look at the first picture and see Al exactly the same. the facial staring is Al through and through
I too have recognized the similarity in your photos of Al.
I hope you realize I am not trying to compare but I just can’t help but notice
It’s the rotten PD – don’t worry, I have noticed too.
thank you for understanding
Strength in weakness. 🙂
True. I hadn’t thought of it like that – thank you!
Don’t fall off the bike!
Not yet!
Animals really do bring out the best in people, don’t they? Except for Wonderbutt…
But I love Wonderbutt!
They look so good together Anthony looks like such a gentel man
He certainly is.
Warms my heart
Mine too.
Bulldog said it so perfectly, that I can’t think of a single thing to say.
Bulldog is great, isn’t he.
That’s so sweet 🙂
That peacock is quite therapeutic!
You are blessed, Julie. This is beautiful and heart warming. {{{Hugs}}} Kozo
