brilliant. and so good to see the two of you ‘in real life.’
This is wonderful…
Well done, Julie and Ming. Great job! I hope more people will learn to be understanding when dealing with friends and relatives who have dementia.
Wonderful, so good to watch it and see how you explain what you both have been through. What lovely son you have, sharing the same sense of humour. I’ll bet your talk went down a storm.
Good talk. Well done to both of you.
Well done Julie and Ming! It was nice to hear the audience connecting with you through laughter.
Reblogged this on MandysPath.
This was wonderful, Julie and Ming! ❤️
That was so excellent Julie (and Ming of course) . It gave the reality of dementia and yet also of the relationship one can still have with a loved one…. I feel that you really give a glimpse into turning a challenge and some sadness, into a different realm of communication with a loved one….. The honesty and sensitivity of your ‘talk’ I feel will really help others to identify and learn and perhaps relax more, with their own experience…. Diane xx
Both of you have grown so much, and are a natural comedy team, which enlightens while educating. Well done! I must say it was a pleasure to see and hear you talk It may be worthwhile doing a series of talks on different aspects of dementia -is that a possibility?
I am looking into it. Thanks Jane!
Wow! You two were awesome! So much joy and laughter talking about dementia … truly inspiring on so many levels. I’m not sure I did it justice, but couldn’t resist sharing it at BTSN. (Hope that is alright?) http://belowthesaltnews.com/community/dementia-dialogues-tedx-remaking-conversation/
