I am still not quite over this ridiculously prolonged gastric attack but feel 100% better than I did, so, until I am on top of things, my posts will be really short. Today, I finally saw my ma who returned from Scotland last Tuesday but I was too sick to go to Perth and pick her up from the airport and had to get friends to do so. Hugging my ma after 4 weeks was like heaven.
Glad you’re feeling that much better – better enough to hug your Ma is good.
i’m so happy to know that you are feeling better. You look just like your beautiful mother.:) We always need our mother’s when we don’t feel good.
You look a lot like your mom! Do you have any photos of when you were a child with your parents?
It’s a truly beautiful shot Julie… I feel like I know your mom! Please take good care of this stomach bug – it sounds so awful and I worry bout you. Love and Hugs ~ Robyn x
Lovely photo. Take care.
what a beautiful photo. get better soon!
Moms makes everything better!!!
Wow Jules….do you ever look like your Ma! I have the same problem/blessing. lol. Glad she’s home safe and sound and has had your arms around her already! xoxo
I am lucky to still have my mother. She is 86. There is nothing like ‘mummy’ when times get tough. Hope you feel better soon.
Julie, I am so sorry you are still sick! YUCK.
But I am so happy that your mother is back home safe and sound. Will she be able to help you with your recovery now that she is home?
xoxoxoxoxoxooooo
So sorry you hear you are still unwell, Julie.
You might consider asking to be tested for a Parasitic infection. I had a Blastocystis Hominus bug with gastro symptoms (bowel pain, diarrhoea etc) for two and a half years and nothing cleared it (incl 2 antibiotics together) until I had a colonoscopy/gastroscopy. The chemical to clear your whole system before the procedure, also cleared any trace of the parasite (finally).
I hadn’t been to any Asian countries where one would be likely to pick it up – could have been from unwashed raw salad ingredients said the Dr.
I do so hope you start to feel 100% soon. These gastro bugs are not pleasant.
It has been horrific – still awaiting test results. Thx Vicki!
Had an attack like that two years ago. Still very memorable. Glad you are feeling somewhat better.
Glad you are feeling better.
What’s a tuntun?
Ha! A dummy.
Ah!
So sorry to hear how very poorly you’ve been, Julie, but so glad you’re on the mend and your Ma is there with you. All the best x
Wishing you a speedier recovery Jules. It gets old real fast not feeling 100%. Love what you said about hugging your mum. And Ming? He is so adorable. How too quickly they grow, eh?
Good to see that she got back home safely.
I have to agree with everyone else Julie, you are your mother’s double. What a precious photo.
No matter how old we are we love our mothers and love to see them and hear their voices
