Julie, that is so pretty. It reminds me of the dogwood tree we had in our frontyard when we lived in Alexandria Virginia. Which is a subrub of Washington DC. Thank you for sharing it. Take care, Bill
WOW. What an absolutely beautiful tree! I do so wish I could grow them here. I kept a few in pots that did well, but I haven’t actually tried to grow one in the soil. I think the soil here is too alkaline. This is a breathtaking sight. And an emerald peacock too! 🙂
WOW! This is so beautiful… Thank you dear Julie, love, nia
I bet it smells fabulous!
Amazingly, camellias don’t have any scent!
Wow. Maybe they are content to look so pretty.
It reminds me of my peony carpet. It is so pretty Jules. 🙂
Marvellous! There’s a bit of an optical illusion going on with the peacock – his back almost looks seethrough to the grass below.
You are right!
Oh a camellia, how i miss them, that is just divine. So beautiful. So PINK! Pink is for calm, a wee oasis in your day.. c
How magnificent!!!
Tersia, I am struggling with internet problems so not sure if you know I reblogged you and am feeling awful I didn’t ask you first – argh!
That’s the nicest carpet I’ve seen in a long time.
That is so beautiful… a carpet of pink…. Diane

Wow, Julie.
How profuse are the flowers on that Camellia.
Over here in Melbourne, the camellias have been wonderful this year too.

Brilliant Jules in how you framed the peacock with such a beautiful carpet.
He just stuck his head in!
I love the serendipitous moment that he did.
Beautiful. We are heading into autumn here and the temperatures are getting chilly.
We will probably soon be into unbearable heat – ha!
