Me: Ants, is it okay if I write your life story?
Anthony: No.
Me: Why?
Anthony: Because I don’t exist.

I know it must be so hard 😦 big hugs Jules
I know how he feels……..
One wonders what was in his mind when he said that.
I’m so glad you exist. ❤
He makes us stop and think doesn’t he?
he’s a deep philosopher now )
Your conversations never fail to be of interest. The subtext there is worthy of Samuel
Beckett.
Such an interesting response from him! Is it because a life story is usually told after death and then it’s not a “life” story if one doesn’t exist? Maybe he wanted to say, “But I’m not dead yet!” I know he has a wonderful sense of humor. I think it’s great you’re sharing these exchanges. Hoping you’re feeling better – you’ve certainly gone through a rough patch.
Maybe he feels that way sometimes. He’s such an interesting person.
That’s so sad.
This made me laugh, I don’t exist that is funny
Uh. Write it anyway and show him how MUCH he exists. But you have already done that many times if I remember correctly. I have never followed a blog so persistently as yours, because you do know how to tell a story and with heart, plus your subjects are so interesting…Anthony, Ming, your Mum
and you!
I’m so glad you exist too!
A man truly in touch with his feelings. …even if he doesn’t exist. God bless.
Must be hard to sort what is real and philosophic and what is the illness talking. May you be strong.
